Trulstrop

Solved Go to answer

Hi, I recently received the trulstorp and assembled it. I managed to assemble everything. When the top falls down into place, it does not completely fall in. Specifically, it's the side with the hydraulic piston.

I disassembled a different part to troubleshoot the problem and found that the piece that supports the table and the hydraulic piston does not tilt in the correct direction. Does anyone know what can I do to fix this?

Sorry for the poor quality. My phone's camera is somewhat broken. The first photo is the one facing the wrong direction.

Hej! Thank you for being part of the community. I apologize for the issue you are facing with your TRULSTORP coffee table. Based on the description you shared, there's a high chance that the piece in question is defective. To have the matter rectified, you can visit the Returns & Exchanges counter of your local IKEA store with your sales receipt. Note that you do not need to exchange the entire coffee table, only the defective piece. Tack!
