Hej! Thanks for joining the community. If you purchase a SLAKT bed and it starts to squeak, we suggest putting a thin layer of talc on the bedsides (where the slats sit). The talc will decrease the friction between the bed structure and the slats. If the problem persists, you may need to tighten the bed frame hardware - the hardware should be neither too loose nor too tight. You can also check if the bed sits steadily on the floor. An uneven floor can cause the creaking of the bed frame as well. Another thing we suggest is to always test the bed you want in-store! We hope this helps!
