Recommendations for a large computer stand

Hi folks, I have a much larger-than-usual gaming computer, and I need a piece of furniture to support it well off the floor, ideally something with a shelf that I can put a modem and other networking hardware on, as it'll be right beside the internet connection point in my office.

The computer itself is about the width and depth of a filing cabinet (17" x19")and about 30" tall.  it's currently on top of a filing cabinet (about 41" tall), which has been fine so far, but I can't put networking hardware inside a metal filing cabinet (it'll block the wiki signal), plus all the ports are on the top, so cables have to run a bit further, so I'm looking for something a little shorter.

So I'm looking for something about the same footprint (no more than 23" along the shortest side), between 24" and 38" tall, and it has to be quite sturdy, as the computer weighs around 60 lbs.

If there's something with a shelf , that'd be best, but a second, smaller table that fits underneath would also work.  My router needs at least 5" of clearance, but that's the only major restriction there.

For context, I use a Bekant motorized sit-stand desk, which will be going beside the stand/computer,  The desk is 63" wide, and it'd going against a wall that's 92" wide (so 29" horizontal space for the stand/computer, leaving 6" extra space between walls/desk etc = maximum 23" width for the stand)

Mainly just looking for product recommendations.  Another option I've been considering for the networking hardware is a wall-mounted shelf above the computer (I don't want to put that stuff on top of the computer itself for aesthetic and ventilation reasons), but if I go that route I might as well just stick with the filing cabinet for the computer stand.

Thanks!

Hi there!

One of those would be too narrow, but I think two of them back-to-back might work.  That's 28.5" wide though which is *really* cutting it close for total horizontal space.  I'm also a little unsure they're quite sturdy enough.  The metal looks a little on the thin side - can they hold up 60 lbs pretty much forever without buckling at all?

Also would I be able to simply leave the doors on the bottom compartment off? they wouldn't really work opening towards my desk's legs, and I'd want to use that space for some kind of storage, so I figure leaving the doors off is a good way to keep it useful.

On the other hand, this does give me good ideas - this particular product might not be the answer, but maybe something of a similar form factor but more narrow (and heavier construction) could work the same way (2 of them back to back/side by side). Thanks for your help!

I might be off here but maybe a BRUSALI (Desk) might do the trick? Plenty of open compartments for storage that wouldn't hinder your signal. Also, your computer sounds like a true beast! 😤

Ooh, yeah that looks like a good option! and since it's made of wood, even the compartment walls won't block the signal too much!  Great idea, thanks!

Anytime!
