I've been using the older 20/20 based kitchen planners for years. The new one is very pretty but it's freaking me out a little. First, I've lost all of the designs I was working on!! Second, there are bunch of things I can't figure out how to do.
- Most basic, how do I print the floor plan with dimensions? I can print the supply list. I can take a screen grab of the pretty floor plan rendering, but it doesn't have detailed measurements.
- How do I save a design with a new name? Once I've created a floor plan with my room, window, and door measurements I want to try a few different arrangements without having to recreate the room shape and details every time.
- The warnings and suggestions are just broken, they don't make any sense, so heads up to anyone who uses this semi-regularly you'll have to watch out for errors and omissions yourself because the software can't help you at the moment.
So much more, but these are my most urgent. Help??
Thanks!

Update: Found the printable views I needed - (in Chrome) you have to click on "Make it Happen" at the top, then you can view your floorplans under the "2D" tab below, but you have to click Print from the menu to the right of the screen to be given a choice of printable sections. You can't actually print directly from the enlarged floor plans by right clicking. So far my other problems stand. (And more are piling up by the minute!)

Hej! Thank you for being part of the community. I can understand how the new kitchen planner tool might be scary, but rest assured that it is made to be more optimal and user-friendly.
To possibly retrieve your kitchen designs, I recommend that you contact us at 1-866-866-IKEA (4532). You can also reach out to us on Facebook (IKEA Canada) or Twitter (IKEACanada/IKEACASupport). Note that you will need to provide us with your email address so we can send you a link that brings you to your old kitchen design(s). However, keep in mind that your old designs will need to be recreated on the new kitchen planner tool.
As for saving a design with different names, note that you can create a copy and rename it. To proceed, you will need to click on your "Saved Designs", then click on the design you'd like to make a copy of. You will then have the option to open your design or make a copy of it. Once the copy is made, you can rename it.
In terms of the warnings and suggestions, I shared the feedback internally for review.
Thank you for your understanding.
