Mattress trial in store

Solved Go to answer

Hello!

I'm looking to buy a new mattress but wanted to see/feel it in person. Are mattresses on display at Ikea for me to go check them out before buying? The page does say it's not available to buy in store, delivery only but hoping it's at least on display. I'm looking at the Haugsvar mattress if it makes a difference. Thank you :).

Hej,

Thank you for being part of the community.

This is a good question. 🙂

Yes, mattresses are on display in IKEA stores for you to check them before buying.

You did not mentioned where you would like to go and see the mattresses, FYI, Toronto Downtown-Aura is the only store that doesn't carry mattresses.

There's an other reason that you may have been redirect to a delivery service, the mattress that you're looking for may not be in stock at your prefer store.

Thank you Ruby! I will likely be going to Vaughan,  I don't mind the delivery, I just wanted to try it first.

Completely understandable,  @Bumblebee! It is always safer to visit us in store to see an item in person when the IKEA store has the item in stock.
