Elvarli post ceiling mount fell through

I have an Elvarli post unit and the ceiling mount fell down. Not sure how to retrieve the piece from the attachment from the inner column.

Thanks for the information,  @Bobthebuilder. You should be able to unscrew the hardware and remove it like that. Please let us know if that works!
