Availability of Items in US stores but not Canada?

I'm beyond frustrated. 

I follow a number of Youtubers that inevitably have Ikea recommendations, however I find while they are on the US site, they aren't available in Canada.   Which is crazy - we are right across the border !  No curtains beyond 250cm in Canada,  or 98", but Ritva is avail in 118 or 120 " there ( yes we have ceilings higher than 9 feet here too).   No Bekvam stool. And numerous others.    I don't ever remember this being the case in the past, but I could be wrong,

And your international shopping option only works if you are in a country that has no Ikea.  *sigh*

Surely if you can provide stock to a country of that size our teeny country with a handful of locations could get a few items.

For the other products, we are currently experiencing supply issues for many of our products and our stores across the country are slowly restocking, including our distribution warehouse (online orders). The Ritva curtains used to be available in 118" in Canada, I have purchased them before several years ago.  Are they no longer available because of supply chain issues and will be offered again in the future, or are they permanently being removed from Canadian stores?  I would like to purchase these again in the 118" length.

Are you sure you are answering for Canada? I don't see the curtains you are speaking of at all, and  I  don't see any 300 cm curtains of any type.

Did you ever find curtains 118” length? I’m looking too! Do you know if it’s possible to order and pick up at a checkpoint across the border?

Yes I think you can order From ikea US  to a US destination - but they don’t ship cross border.   Or you can get Them on amazon for  5 x the price.  I checked a couple of days ago again.  Still not here in canada.  Good luck.
