Assembly alignment off LOMMARP TV bench

Step three- the screw insert holes on of the side leg arches aren’t aligned with the longer piece. All four feet pieces are suppose to align and be flush. Anything like this happen to others?

 you can see  the top picture that the holes were drilled too high, and the second photo just shows how it’s not flush
