96cm Oversidan does not work!

I have two 96cm Oversidan lightning strips installed in my Pax wardrobes. In both lights, only the left sensor seems to work. The right sensor does not trigger the light to turn on or off. For example if I open the right side door, the light does not come on, it will only come on when the left side door is opened. Same thing for closing the doors and the light turning off.

This is really bothering me as it leaves my $3500 investment from being finished.

Others have had this same issue and I’ve commented on their post but IKEA has failed to reply. Please provide an answer for this frustrating issue.

Thank you.

Hej

Thanks for your post. I can imagine how frustrated you must be and we're sorry for any inconvenience this issue might be causing you. Have you installed the motion sensor so that the sensor is directed where the motion will be, in the range of 120 degrees/ 5m (16,5’)? Have you tried to do a factory reset of your items and tried again?

@Snevyl thanks for the reply. The lighting strip is installed correctly and the sensors pointing the right direction.

How can I do a factory reset?

I have also messaged IKEA on Facebook.

Thanks for asking! You should be able to find the factory reset instructions in the item's assembly guide.
