I put together an island using 2 x 30" sektion cabinets. There are 3 drawers in each cabinet - 5", 10" & 15". I used the Ikea maximera hole drawer plan (recounted them all several times). Unfortunately the bottom (high) drawer is overlapping the middle (medium) drawer by about an inch. There seems to be an inch gap at the top, and an inch gap at the bottom, I think that is correct. What is the problem here?

Hej @Rhonda, Thanks for asking. We apologize for the confusion. Most of the time, the L-bracket will be what is causing this problem with the drawer fronts overlapping. You will have to read the assembly guides of the MAXIMERA drawers again. Here are the links for the 2 assembly guides you need to read before installation:
The first assembly guide (medium drawer): maximera-drawer-medium-white__AA-1010997-1-2.pdf
The second assembly guide (medium drawer): maximera-drawer-medium-white__AA-1018941-4-2.pdf
The most important steps in the assembly guide are the ones showing you how to install the bottom drawer.
Here are some images showing you specific steps to follow:
The most important part of this step is the L-bracket position, the L-bracket has 3 holes but for the bottom drawer front installation you will only use the 2 first holes from the L-bracket.
For all the other drawer fronts above it, they follow a different installation for the L- bracket. For the installation of the L-bracket for all above drawer fronts we need to skip the first hole and use the second and third hole from the L-bracket. This should resolve the issue with the drawers fronts overlapping.

Yes, this is what the problem was. I moved the bracket on the high drawer, dropping it about 1/4-1/2", then I noticed that all the brackets inside the cabinet had to be changed. I had screwed all of them in the top location, and all I had to do was change to the bottom hole location. They are a perfect fit now. Thank you!
